Ordered the Sushi Avenue Roll which had spicy tuna, crab meat and shrimp tempura. Was tasty and all the ingredients tasted fresh. Staff was very professional and welcoming. They gave me a complimentary miso soup while I waited for the rolls. There were about 4-5 tables there so you could dine in assuming there's space. Sushi came out quickly. Good spot for some lunch.
Pros:
+ Sushi Avenue Roll
+ Staff
Cons:
- Small dining area (not ideal for large groups) -

This place is so great and you can tell that the two owners work so very hard. They are always there making everything fresh and with love. The sushi is great and my personal favorite is the mango avocado salad! I highly recommend this salad and this place in general.

I'm in accordance with everyone in regards that Sushi Avenue should just be one "$" sign price. Many options here from rolls to sashimi to udon that you pick from. There is a parking lot as well as plentiful street parking.
I have 2 sushi moods: super high-quality, fresh with a noted sushi chef carefully slicing each slice to perfection a la SUGARFISH or some cheap but delicious rolls that hit the spot. Sushi Avenue is clearly the latter and I am happy to report that is a great sushi spot.
I ordered #64 and #65 Tempura Udon with a crunchy roll and spicy tuna roll. The udon itself is decent, don't expect any high quality noodles or flavorful broth but it hit the spot for the price. The rolls themselves are large and tasty. I am very happy with the portion size for the price.
If you're in the area and want some cheap sushi for a great price, come to Sushi Avenue! -

If you are looking for sushi is ES, this is the spot. We usually order the California roll and it is delicious and freshly made. Very casual atmosphere and you can't beat the prices! The cherry on top, the owners are super sweet.

I owe this place a good review because I've eaten multiple times here and each time found the crazy rolls that papa chef builds to be utterly satisfying and easy on the wallet. The size of the rolls are impressive so that I can't eat more than one at a meal. I've also had their handrolls.
With about four Japanese eateries in El Segundo, this one certainly distinguishes itself for casual dining.
The plain cafeteria style room is not so impressive but the friendliness of the family makes up for it. Plus, they make it seem more gracious because they present you with a gratis, warm miso soup brewed with, I believe, homemade miso. I like their little salad. You are treated right here.
I would highly recommend this spot for economical but delicious and opulently-constructed sushi rolls; they are listed on the wall with color photo illustrations that are very helpful, in large scale. Fish quality is not bad if you stick to the big cuts of plain fish. One of my favorite little strip mall sushi joints that serve big taste. The music selection isn't bad either...
